A note on our house: It was a HUD home, and it showed. It had been vacant for 4 years and had lots of problems with it...which has made for a great adventure. It was so bad that Troy's mom cried when we told her we bought it (she didn't tell us until later). I would highly recommend you think before you buy a house like this but I would do it over again in a heartbeat (Troy...not so much).
